Our blog is online since October 2020 and it features some of the many travels we did over the past decade. Impossible to say which trip we enjoyed the most, but nature, walks and food always play an important role when deciding on a new destination.
We found (and still find) a lot of inspiration in other blogs and trip reports when planning new adventures, so we decided to share our travel stories and photo’s as well. The inspiration for the title of our blog ? It comes from the fairy tale Hansel and Gretel (Brothers Grimm), where the children followed little white pebbles to get out of the woods.
Due to the Covid crisis we have all been limited in our travels for suite a while, but nothing stopped us from dreaming about the places we would like to visit! The pandemic also caused us to resort to more hikes and vacations in our own country, something we did far too little in the past! Slowly we are planning more trips outside Europe… we have missed it so much !

Alvast bedankt voor de interesse die jullie toonden in mijn blog. Ondertussen heb ik hier ook een beetje rondgekeken en ik moet oprecht toegeven dat jullie een prachtige site hebben neergezet. Zeer interessant voor die mensen die interesse hebben in verre reizen, ze kunnen er zeker nuttige dingen uit halen. Persoonlijk vind ik het heel fijn om al deze plaatsen d.m.v. jullie blog ook een beetje te mogen bezoeken.
